Design Portraits
This weeks assignment was design portraits. Design portraits are portraits using geometric patterns to create something interesting in the photo. I had a lot of fun doing this collection, and hope to get more opportunities to work with this style of photography.

Narrative The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf
For this week assignment, I worked on creating a narrative. I chose to create a collection of photos telling the fairy tale The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf with a modern interpretation. These photos tell the story of a dangerous man whom attacks three innocent girls. He gets the first and the second girl, but is luckily unable to catch the third girl thanks to her brilliance. He is then caught in the last photo.

Abstraction through rule of thirds
In this weeks attainment, I worked on my second batch of abstract photos. After the first batch, I concluded that I wanted to focus on textures and grains to produce abstraction. In addition to abstraction, I also incorporated the rule of thirds in the photos.

abstract
For this weeks assignment, we were to told to capture abstract photos. This was an interesting assignment. This was my first time taking abstract photos. It was rather difficult at first, but as the week went by, i started to get the hang of it. I had fun trying this new style of photography out and hope to be able to experiment with this style of photography later in the year.

Photo Team
For Johns photo, I tried to mimic the simplicity of his photography. His photos tend to be clean and crisp with not much of a distraction between the background and the subject of the photo.
For Marias photo, I tried to capture the creativity of her photography. To do so I used her reflection to place her creatively into the photo.
For Roxie, I tried to capture the intensity of her photos. Her photography style focuses on intense portraits. To do so, I used the Drew Garage because of the great textures the cement has.
For Sabrinas photo, I mimicked her collection using a previously taken photo of a body part and then incorporated into the actual photo.
For Sasha's photo, I mimicked her style by taking a very intense, yet easy on the eyes photo. I used a lot of bright lighting and I personally think this photo to be a great success.
For Stefans photo, I mimicked his style by incorporating both leading lines and negative spacing. I had to wait till the weather cooled to capture his style because of the quality of the sky, which he likes to use.
In this weeks assignment, we captured photos of our classmates in their own personal styles. It was an interesting project that allowed me to use a variety of styles and analyses my classmates and their photography style. This was one of my favorite assignments because i was able to work with many different styles. It was also a great final post for my junior year at Drew School. My favorite photo that I've taken in this collection is by far that of my friend Sasha, the third to last photo.

Best of Negative Spacing and Textures
This is my series final for negative spacing and textures. I had a lot of fun working with this style of photography, and thought overall it was a good experience that gave me some insight on the beauty of simplicity and allowed me to realize how interesting the world really is if you take a minute to examine it.
