Negative Spacing and Textures

This week i was again working on negative spacing, but my idea of the project transformed into something else, something different.  I incorporated negative spacing into patterns and textures that i found throughout the city.  I enjoyed this weeks assignment because it was both new and at times challenging to incorporate both negative spacing and textures into individual photo.

Negative Spacing

This week I tried working with Negative Spacing.  It was an interesting week where i experimented with different subjects that I would not usually consider for this assignment.  I also tried working with both black and white and color to give more of a variety to the collection and to allow myself to experiment more with this particular style of photography.

Leading Lines for depth

In this weeks assignment, i worked to capture photos with all different styles of leading lines, to show how there are many ways to create depth through them.  I used leading lines to lead to viewer towards either out of the photo or around it, creating depth in one of the two ways.  I also used black and white to dramatize the depth and used color to allow the eye to follow a certain path in the image.  My favorite photos in this weeks collection would have to be the one of the tree and of the light bulb.

Leading Lines Again

for this weeks assignment, i decided to try leading lines again.  In my photos, i tried to use leading lines to create depth.  My favorite photo in this collection is the fourth.  I think it is a perfect example of how leading lines can create such great scenes in a photo.

These photos are the bast of my liquified collections.  I believe these to be the best because they represent the goals i tried to achieve through out this project.  These photos cover the liquification of pure landscape, the cityscape, panoramic shots, close ups, and black and white.

This week was the last of my liquified photo project.  I went back to my original style of liquifying images of the city and trying to capture the beatuy of San Francisco within a painting.

Series Draft 3

For this weeks assignment, I tried experimenting with liquified images in black and white.  The black and white allows the images to show the details and the work behind the liquifying process.  I also tried to avoid the panoramic shot that i had previously using for diversity in this style.
