Series Draft 3

For this weeks assignment, I tried experimenting with liquified images in black and white.  The black and white allows the images to show the details and the work behind the liquifying process.  I also tried to avoid the panoramic shot that i had previously using for diversity in this style.

Personal Series: Painting Cityscapes

This weeks assignment is to start a collection for a book that we will create later in the year.  My photography style of this collection is cityscapes and city life images liquified.  I hope to create images that capture the beauty of San Francisco as if they were painted.  Because this style is so time consuming and lengthy, I have only produced two photos this week.

Negative Space

For this weeks project, we were told to capture images while creating negative space.  the subjects of these photos all create interesting shapes with the negative, or blank space.  My favorite photo in this collection is the second photo of the mirror.

Experimental Sketch book

In this weeks collection, our assignment was to create emotional photos using either words or filters on previous photos we had already taken.  For the photos with words, we had to come up with passionate lines that would capture the viewers interests and feelings and also incorporate these words seamlessly into the photo.  For the edited photos, I used photoshop to use different filters such as watercolor and neon effect.  I also discovered a fun and beautiful way to edit your photos using the liquify tool again in photoshop.  My favorite two photos in this collection are the two that I liquified, the first one and the second to last.
